Glass panels – wall covers for bathrooms
and kitchens

We would like to offer a trendy and practical product,
namely glass panels, also referred to as wall covers.
They are a sought-for product, and a lot of our customers
choose to install them for the following reasons:

1. An alternative to tiling,
2. Easy maintenance,
3. Moisture, dust and grease resistance,
4. A uniform, flat surface does not have jointing
   where dirt could accumulate,
5. It is a modern solution for any interior, yielding a unique look
   thanks to the possibility of using coloured glass and glass decorations.

Glass panels can be made from:
- lacquered glass, e.g. lacobel,
- glass with stickers; when looking for inspirations, check

- see-through glass
- satin glass

In addition to that, glass can undergo hardening,
which will enhance its thermal and mechanical durability.
The use of hardened glass is mandatory in the vicinity
of gas cookers and anywhere that a large number of socket
holes is required, to maintain glass durability.

Methods of panel mounting:

1. With anchors – holes are borne in the glass, masked with
   decorative chrome-covered or satin elements.
   Applications: glass with stickers, see-through and satin glass
   – in lacobel, as requested.
2. Glued on – in the case of lacquered glass.

Note: For easier mounting, especially for decorative print panels,
one has to make sure the walls are straight, which will make it easie
to fit the design.

When to measure the panels?

1.We recommend our own measuring and mounting services.
Measurements have to be made after the furniture has been assembled.
Note:
Our experience shows that investors should make sure that
the furniture is horizontally even, thus preventing gaps underneath.
When mounting panels, one has to provide for expansion gaps,
by the worktop and beneath cupboards.
The lower gap can be masked with a worktop splat or with silicone.

BEFORE THE MEASUREMENTS, one has to remove the plastic
socket cover. Before mounting, sockets have to be dismantled,
leaving just cable boxes and cables.
One should also remove all the tap units and prepare
the place on the worktop.

Enter www.fotolia.pl in your search engine.
In the frame enter keywords for images you are looking for,
e.g. gerbera, orchid, apples.
When images have been displayed, filter the selection by using
the filters available on the left-hand side of the screen, under
the "OPCJE WYSZUKIWANIA" (SEARCH OPTIONS) heading.
They will allow for narrowing down the expectations towards
the images, including the colour hue, location of the image,
whether there should be people in the picture or not,
and many others. We suggest copying the link to the page
containing the image of your choice, and send it to us,
since the pictures are very detailed and even on the next day
they may be found elsewhere.
